About Us

Our founder Rene Larrave has been riding motorcycles for more than 20 years. He particularly enjoys the friendships and bonds that are created while traveling to the farthest reaches of the world. He has visited more than 20 countries on his motorcycle and is currently planning an around the world trip. His vision of creating a place for friends to come together and to integrate their personal interest with their work and family lives was the driving force behind the development of Motopia.

Rene Larrave is also a successful entrepreneur with a long career in management consulting. Before starting and selling his own management consulting and outsourcing firms, he worked for some of the most recognized companies in this field helping large corporations around the world improve their businesses. Motopia is a realization of a dream to combine family, friends, work and his passion for motorcycles.

Ramir Camu, co-founder of Motopia has always enjoyed a great cup of coffee while spending time with friends or working on his latest project. The vision to create a great coffee shop and restaurant with an integrated business center was born after spending a lot of time at other coffee shops working and not having access to essential business tools such as a printer or a fax. Ramir is also the founder of TheEyeWorks, a Dallas-based web development and marketing agency that services a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to startups.

Our first location in Dallas, Texas, opened December 19, 2007.
