Copper Canyon, Mexico Postponed to October 2008. Dates to be confirmed soon. An 8-day trip from Dallas to the border at Presidio and on to Chihuahua, Mexico's biggest State and home to Copper Canyon. Copper Canyon is four times larger than the grand canyon and is also home to the Tarahumara Indians. This is a great trip for dual sport bikes as we will not only do great twisties on paved roads in the Sierra Madre Mountains but also venture to the bottom of the canyon on dirt switchbacks with breathtaking views. We will leave Dallas early on Saturday (trailering or riding) to the Marfa/Presidio area where we will leave our cars (if trailering) and depart from into Mexico on Sunday. We will arrive to Creel, Chihuahua, on Sunday and go from there. Trip limited to 6 people. Price is $1,425 per person. INCLUDES: all trip planning and coordination, single room accommodation, breakfasts and dinners while in Mexico, bilingual support with travel and border crossings. DOES NOT INCLUDE: motorcycle rental, gasoline, import permit fees, incidentals, lunches while in Mexico, all meals while in the US. |
